제주특별자치도 서귀포시 성산읍 일출로 284-12
A UNESCO World Natural Heritage site located on the eastern side of Jeju Island. It is a tuff cone formed by a hydrovolcanic eruption about 100,000 years ago, characterized by a huge crater at its summit and its dramatic rise from the sea. It is very famous as a sunrise viewing spot.
💡 Visit Tips
The hike to the summit takes about 20-30 minutes and is a relatively easy climb with a gentle incline. As its name 'Sunrise Peak' suggests, visiting at sunrise offers the most beautiful scenery. In spring, the surrounding fields are full of canola flowers, making the landscape even more stunning.
