This is where Chief Hong's (played by Kim Seon-ho) boat, inherited from his grandfather, was placed on a hill, famous for its beautiful scenery overlooking Gongjin village and the sea. The park was originally created to commemorate erosion control projects (Sabang).
💡 Visit Tips
Parking is convenient with a large lot in the park, but it takes about a 15-20 minute walk up the hill (Mugeunbong Peak) to where the boat was located. Comfortable shoes are recommended due to the slight incline. The boat from the drama may have been removed after filming, but the ocean view from the hill is well worth the visit. Admission is free.
