A byeolseo (villa) garden created by the Joseon-era scholar Lee Dam-ro, located at the foot of Wolchulsan Mountain, boasting a beautiful landscape in harmony with nature. It was the backdrop for the drama's sub-poster, and the dense bamboo forest path 'Undangwon' appeared as a particularly impressive scene.
💡 Visit Tips
It is considered one of the top three gardens of the Honam region, along with Damyang's Soswaewon and Wando's Bogildo Seyun-jeong. It's a great place to walk along the 12 scenic spots of Baekun-dong praised by Jeong Yak-yong. The nearby Wolchulsan Green Tea Plantation and Muwisa Temple are also worth visiting together.
